Steven Brunner,
Founder & President

Steve Brunner has 33 years of international and national sports marketing experience. Through his career, he was worked on more than 50 world-class sporting events, including many of the world’s top multi-sport events, including six Olympic Games, X Games, Goodwill Games and U.S. Olympic Committee’s Titan Games. He has also been in senior executive positions for seven World Championships in five sports. He has created more than 100 assets for clients that have help both monetize and help build brands and events resulting in more than $250 million in sponsorship sales. He has had held senior marketing position at the U.S. Olympic Committee and Turner Sports, before founding KOM Sports Marketing in 2006 under the principals of providing integrated marketing and communication services to create economies of scale and leverage while building out world-class brands and events. His experience spans sponsorship, promotional and grass roots marketing, public and media relations, press operations, broadcasting and brand development.

Brunner was a collegiate athlete in track & field and cross country, and a nationally-ranked duathlete and triathlete post college.

Katrina Younce,
Director of Communications

Katrina Younce is a PR consultant with 20 years of corporate and agency communications experience across complementary industries: sports, entertainment, media and lifestyle. With a genuine love for building relationships, she is focused on helping people and brands tell their most important stories to the world through media.
For the past decade, Katrina has managed projects and account teams for clients ranging from major brands and global nonprofits to professional sports teams and large-scale events. Previously, she held communications positions at top tier media companies including NBC Universal and G4 Networks.
Recent clients include, the Vans US Open of Surfing, one of the world’s largest action sports festivals taking place every summer in Huntington Beach, Calif.; Phelps Brand, the competitive swim line co-founded by the most decorated Olympic swimmer of all time, Michael Phelps; Laureus World Sports Awards, the global awards honoring the greatest sportsmen and women across all sports each year; Team Novo Nordisk, a global team of athletes with diabetes, including a professional cycling team competing in 75+ countries; and Good Sports, a national nonprofit dedicated to reversing the declining youth sports participation rates by providing new sports equipment, footwear and apparel to kids in need.
Katrina began her career at The Lippin Group, one of the leading independent entertainment public relations and marketing firms in the world. Over the course of three years, she rose to Senior Account Executive and worked on high-profile accounts including The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences where she led media credentialing and PR for the Emmy Awards.
A graduate of The University of Montana with a degree in Communications Studies, Katrina currently resides in Irvine, Calif. with her husband and their very energetic ten-year-old daughter.

Younce was a collegiate swimmer. She resides in Virginia Beach, Va.

Keegan Brunner,
Director of Creative and Digital Management

Keegan Brunner started as an intern at KOM Sports Marketing and has elevated to Director of Creative and Digital Management. He has worked more than 10 world-class events in various capacities, including Amgen Tour of California, Tour of Alberta, Colorado Cycling Classic and Cyclocross World Cup. Most recently, he played a key role in creation of the Maryland Cycling Classic’s website. With an Education in Cyber Security, System and Web Administration and Networking fundamentals, Graphic design, and a former EMT-B, Keegan has a diverse background and understanding of the core elements of public facing events and how to display them.

Rebecca Reza,
Social Media & Communications Specialist

Rebecca has over ten years’ experience covering professional cycling in both marketing and as a journalist. She has a communications degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, and has used the knowledge gained in cycling to cover other sports including professional soccer, and writing for the US National Speed Skating team. As a reporter and photographer, her work has been published in various outlets throughout the world including Bicycling Magazine, Velonews, ProCycling, and Cyclingnews. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, which has allowed her to travel and investigate stories throughout Latin America. Besides hunting for stories and traveling the world, she has a deep passion for classical music. While the world came to a halt during the pandemic, Rebecca took advantage of the break to return to school. As an accomplished pianist and violinist, she returned to the University in El Paso to study for two degrees in both piano pedagogy and violin music education. 

Craig Miller,
Director of Marketing & Communications Services

Craig Miller possesses more than 40 years of international and national sports marketing and communications experience. He served as USA Basketball’s chief communications officer from 1990-2022 and was the organization’s spokesperson and primary media contact, while overseeing all facets of USA Basketball’s media/communications operations. He oversaw USA Basketball men’s and women’s teams communications operations in eight Olympics (1992-2020), including the historic 1992 “Dream Team,” and USA men’s and women’s teams in 16 FIBA World Championships, FIBA AmeriCups, Pan American Games, Goodwill Games, World University Games, FIBA U19 and U17 World Cups.  Prior to joining USA Basketball, Miller spent 10 years at Villanova University where he oversaw all media/public relations facets for Villanova’s athletics teams as the assistant to the athletic director for athletic communications (1988-90) and sports information director (1981-88), including Villanova’s 1985 NCAA national championship men’s basketball team. While employed at Villanova, Miller was selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee to serve as the track and field press officer for the 1988 Summer Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, a USOC press officer at the 1986 and 1987 U.S. Olympic Festivals and was selected press officer for 1988 USA Winter Paralympic Team that competed in Austria.

Miller was collegiate football player.
